Gems 2 is a free online match-3 puzzle with levels, goals and a limited number of moves. Swap adjacent jewels to line up three or more, clear each level’s objective before your moves run out, and build powerful special gems — a line-blast from four in a row and a colour bomb from five. Play in your browser with no download and no sign-up, on phone or desktop.

How to play

• Swap two adjacent gems — tap one then its neighbour, or drag one onto it.
• Line up 3 or more of the same colour to clear them and score points.
• Match 4 in a row to create a line-blast gem; swap or match it to clear a whole row or column.
• Match 5 in a line to create a colour bomb; swap it with any gem to clear every gem of that colour.
• Each level has a goal — reach a score, or collect enough gems of a colour — before your moves run out.

Save your moves for combos: matches near the bottom drop whole columns and often trigger free cascades. Aim for 4- and 5-matches to bank special gems, then set them off next to each other — a line-blast beside a colour bomb clears a huge chunk of the board. On collect goals, prioritise swaps that fall in the target colour rather than chasing raw score.
