Flood

Flood is a free online colour puzzle where you flood the whole board with a single colour before you run out of moves. The flood grows from the top-left corner, swallowing every touching cell of the colour you pick. Play free with no download and no sign-up, on phone or desktop.

How to play

• Your flooded area starts as the single cell in the top-left corner.
• Pick a colour from the palette to repaint the whole flooded area that colour.
• Any same-coloured cells touching the flood are absorbed, so the area grows.
• Each colour pick costs one move — the move limit is shown above the board.
• Fill every cell with one colour before the moves run out to win.
• Choose a larger board for a harder challenge, and read the symbols on the colours if you need them.

Do not just grab the colour that swallows the most cells this turn — greedy moves often stall. Instead, aim toward the colour that opens up the largest new frontier for your next few moves, spreading the flood toward the far corners rather than fattening one edge. Thinking a move or two ahead is what keeps you under the limit on the bigger boards.
