Missile Defense

Missile Defense is a free online arcade classic you can play in the browser. Waves of enemy missiles rain down on your cities — tap the sky to launch interceptors and blow them out of the air before they land. No download, no sign-up, and it plays on phone or desktop.

How to play

• Tap or click a spot in the sky to launch an interceptor from your base.
• The interceptor flies to that point and detonates in an expanding blast.
• Any enemy missile the blast touches is destroyed — one blast can catch several.
• Protect the six cities along the ground; a missile that lands wipes one out.
• Each wave gives limited interceptors, so aim to catch clusters, not singles.
• Survive the wave to earn a bonus for every city still standing.

Fire ahead of the missiles, not right at them — detonate your blast where several trails are about to converge so one explosion clears a cluster. Intercept high up, while the missiles are still far from the ground, to buy time for a second shot if the first misses. Save a few interceptors rather than emptying your base early; the tail end of a wave often arrives fastest.
